Mother Teresa, the founder of St,Teresa’s Convent Girl’s Higher secondary School in the heart of Ernakulam,was a visionary who gauged the need of time and bade her ministries to eradicate the social evils prevalent in the society and to create a civilisation of love, life and fellowship.She set up the school in 1887 with 31pupils. Mother Teresa’s services aimed at lighting the fire in the students. She gave them a reason to live,to learn,to discover and to be free. In the passage of these 132 years, To mould the young into socially committed individuals .Extra-curricular activities are conducted with great gusto every year. Academic brilliance has ever been the hallmark of the school: Our gifted students have coveted commentable laurels for our school.”
